Last Christmas of the year...

Saturday we went to my parents to do Christmas with my Mom's side and my sister.  It was a nice cool day so Kylan went out and played with his older cousin Max, did some more eating and relaxing.

I LOVE how we caught the commercial in the background! LOL

Looky over here Kylan:

Giving Momma kisses :-)

Max watching TV and Kylan playing with Max's toys!

He got lots of good toys this Christmas and now we just need to figure out where they are all going to go! :-s

I hope everyone had a good Christmas and now, on to New Years :-)

Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas!

Christmas Day came and Kylan was one pooped little man.  We got home late on Christmas Eve and he didn't have a nap so our plan was to let him sleep in.  He woke up around 8:30 or so and I caught him on camera coming in to see what Scott and I were up to:

Notice he has all his "night-nights" in hand.  He does this every morning, comes in to our bedroom with all his night-nights.
I have a video but I have yet to figure out how to load it on here with the new layout.  Hmmmmm, that may be something I can do tomorrow.
Santa came and brought Kylan a basketball goal and a baseball tee.

He got some dump trucks, a tricycle, and some other little things from us.

Here, Kylan is helping me open up my Snuggie!!  Yes, I got a Snuggie!! LOL  Everyone made soooo much fun of these things but EVERYONE now has one!  It's just really funny :-)

Daddy got some tools and a really nice tool box.  I thought I got some pics of him opening his but I didn't.  I couldn't wrap the tool box because it was too heavy so it was sitting in the garage. LOL

Kylan and Daddy went to the 10:00 mass and I stayed home so I could be ready in time to go to Grandma's and Grandpa's at 12:00.

Grandma's games to play in the next couple of weeks!

I thought this was a good one of Grandma when she's opening our gift to her :-)

We had lots of fun that day!  Kylan played with the big kids, running around the house about 30 times (no exaggeration)!  We got in the car to leave because Kylan was going downhill FAST around 9 (I think) and we got down the road and Kylan says "Give Grandma Kiss!"  We made sure he was going to give her one because when he left, he didn't want to tell anyone goodbye so we turned around, took him back inside and he gave Grandma a kiss and said "I love you!"  Sooooooo sweet :-)

Anyway, we had a blast on Christmas Day and God willing, the same will be next year ;-)

Snow on Christmas Eve?!?!?!?!

Really, in Texas, Actual snow on Christmas Eve!!  I had been after some friends of mine to send me some snow, Rebecca in Maryland and Sarah in Utah (Well, Minnesota for the Holidays) and well, it actually happened!! :-)  All I was expecting was to have some really cold temps and a little rain and that was it.
Can you see it!!  It was a blizzard up north of Dallas so we just got really horrible wind and some snow!!  We will take it :-)

This one is a better one :-)

Only stuck to the grass since it was 70 the day before, but that's Texas for you!

Starting to open our gifts from Granna, Pappy, and Taylor:

and from the rest of the family:

The Momma and the Baby!  LOL

Now it's time to get into the Santa Suit!  Last year we didn't do it but his first year, he was Santa on Christmas Eve so we decided to start this tradition back up :-)
First year:

This year:

Couldn't get Granny to look at the camera!! LOL

Then we got a surprise visit from Grandma and Grandpa Maliska:

After lots of eating and playing dominos, it was time to head home and get Kylan to bed for Santa.  He's in his Christmas PJ's and ready to get fast asleep :-)

We were thankful to have such a great Christmas Eve and thankful that everyone made it home OK.  We LOVE it when it snows, especially on Christmas Eve, which RARELY happens :-)

Chill, Christmas, Cookies....

Well, I couldn't resist taking this picture!!  I know it probably looks like other ones I take but hey, I LOVE it when Kylan sleeps in such peaceful positions :-)  I guess you can call me obsessed with taking pics of Kylan sleeping but he's so sweet when he's sleeping!! LOL  After all, he is two and this is when he's quietest!

Here's a close up of my little man, I always say this to Scott but look at those little hands that we call eyelashes!! ;-)

This one is the other day.  His schedule has been sooooo messed up due to the holidays and the craziness that comes along with it.  We are going to have to get him back on schedule when this week is over!!

Yesterday, we went to Scott's mom's and dad's to do cookies.  I bought this little pan that makes the cookies into snowflakes and snowmen.  Kylan wanted to make a snowflake for Santa and this is what he created!!  I am very impressed.  Who knows, maybe we have the next Cake Boss on our hands!! lol

Santa is going to LOVE this cookie :-)

This is my creation:

Well, off to wrap Scott's presents and get ready for our busy Christmas Eve tomorrow!! :-)  It's Scott's mom's side tomorrow, Scott's dad's side Christmas Day, then my mom's side on Saturday!!  All I can say is LOTS of Turkey this year :-)

I hope everyone has a very Blessed Christmas and have a safe one if you are traveling!

Oh, and by the way, I can't believe I am listening to is thunder and rain right now!!  I told some friends of mine to send some of their snow my way since one is in Maryland, she said she has 1 foot to send, and the other is home visiting in Minnesota, she said they are expecting a snow storm tonight.  So maybe, just maybe, we will get a little!! :-s (probably not though) :-(

Merry Christmas from the Maliska's

Scott's Birthday Dinner!

Friday was Scott's 30th Birthday so I took him to Chamberlain's Steak and Chop House.  We LOVE that place.  Here's a few pics from the evening:

I was really surprised that he was good the whole evening!!  Thank you so much Kylan :-)  (Hey, he's 2 and he has some meltdowns)

Saturday, we one of my side's Christmas (My dad's side).  My grandmother just had back surgery because she has osteoporosis and her discs are basically disintegrating.  She's also got Alzheimers, which is no good!  Anyway, she wouldn't have been able to ride anywhere for too long so we decided to go to their house and do it.  They still live in the same house that my dad and two aunts grew up in.  It's a small house and I just can't imagine living with 4 other people, with one bathroom in that house!!  Oh, but it does bring back lots of good memories :-)  I love going over there!!

MawMaw opening her gift from us.  It's a family picture ~ She loves getting family pics

Ha!  He found this fan in the house and he loved this fan!  Go Figure!!! LOL  We are still trying to figure out where my grandparents got this.

Kylan got some Hot Wheel cars and a race-track carpet to go in his play room.  He got some cute clothes also :-)

Scott and I are so thankful that we both sets of grandparents and are happy to spend every moment we can with them.  Not too many people our age have that!  Well, off to relax before the busy Christmas week ahead.  I hope everyone had a great weekend :-)
